BREAKING NEWS: Meghan Markle dealt major blow as Donald Trump turns on her in brutal mocking

Meghan Markle has been dealt another blow from another major US publication – just hours before her new brand’s official launch. The Intelligencer, the sister publication of The Cut, has published a scathing critique of her Netflix series and lifestyle brand, As Ever.
Speaking of As Ever, which is set to officially launch this week, senior editor Margaret Hartmann took aim at Meghan’s “big idea” of “rinsing and reusing jam jars” and “selling factory-made food to plebs.” The latest criticism follows a growing trend of publications, all of whom once supported Meghan, turning on her and launching scathing attacks.
Mocking With Love, Meghan, which aired on Netflix last month, the article took aim at how the former actress “poured things from one container into a prettier container and passive-aggressively informed Mindy Kaling that her last name is now Sussex”.
The publication also criticised the “tips” section on Meghan’s As Ever website where the 43-year-old encouraged people who buy her products to reuse the “keepsake packaging”.
The Duchess of Sussex, who has been married to Prince Harry since 2018, shared that people who buy her jam jars can use the empty containers to store “love notes or special treasures”.
Following the launch of her eight-part Netflix series, which will be renewed for a second series later this year, The Guardian described the show as “toe-curlingly unlovable”.
The publication also awarded just one star to the show, which they called a “tone-deaf lifestyle show” that “vibrates with vacuous joylessness.”
The Cut, who once portrayed Meghan very positively in a 2022 interview with just two years after she quit life as a senior working royal, previously wrote negatively about the mother-of-two following the launch of the couple’s Netflix series Polo.
Writer Danielle Cohen wrote: “Personally, I haven’t felt compelled to watch Polo, but according to critics, it is ‘tedious,’ ‘mostly boring,’ and ‘destined to fall through the submenus into obscurity at the speed of light.’ Yikes.”
In the brutal attack prior to the release of With Love, Meghan, she added: “Though the couple co-produced the show, it seems to have been more of Harry’s pet project — he’s a longtime polo player and apparently ‘had a vision’ — but neither he nor his wife appear much in the series at all, eliciting even more criticism. I hope her cooking show goes better?”
