Jennifer Lopez believes Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s relationship is purely platonic

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are in the eye of the storm after the Puerto Rican singer filed for divorce from the filmmaker, whom she married in July 2022. After this breakup, the actor who played Daredevil found refuge with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner.

Affleck and Garner met on the set of the Marvel superhero film, which was released in 2003, and two years later they married in a marriage that lasted 10 years and they had three children.

After a series of professional stumbles for Affleck, who was part of the so-called DC Comics Snyderverse, playing Bruce Wayne/Batman, love came knocking at his door once again, and he got back together with JLo, with whom he broke up in 2023 and 18 years later both stars finally made it to the altar.

But once again the controversies surrounding the Bennifer couple led them to go their separate ways, and Affleck once again found solace in his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, under the pretext of being close to his children.
Friendship at risk?

Sources close to Jennifer Lopez told Entertainment Tonight that while Affleck and Garner’s closeness is striking, the singer says she is not worried about a reconciliation between her ex-husband and one of her friends.

“She is the mother of his children and has been there for him in the worst and best of times.”

Both Garner and Lopez have a friendship thanks to their children, who attend the same school and have managed to establish a good relationship, beyond Affleck’s past loves.

While the Daily Mail newspaper claims that sources close to Jennifer Garner say that she does not want to know more about her namesake Lopez, whom she would only deal with on matters related to her children.

The reason Jennifer Garner does not want to get involved in Lopez’s life is to avoid problems between Affleck and the Puerto Rican, in addition to the relationship the actress has with John Miller, who could reach the altar after a romance that began in 2018.
