JUST IN: Duke of Marlborough with incredible £183m fortune files for divorce from wife of 23 years

Having separated last year, I can reveal that the Duke of Marlborough and his second wife, Edla Griffiths, are making it official. A reliable source tells me that the Duke – better known as Jamie Blandford – has filed for divorce to end their 23-year marriage formally.
The couple, who have two children, Lady Araminta, who will turn 18 next month, and Lord Caspar, 16, split last May and have declined to comment on the personal matter.
Their long relationship has not been without its ups and downs, owing to Jamie’s party boy lifestyle and motoring offences leading to a jail term. But in recent years the Duke cleaned up his act. He sits on a vast inheritance, including a sprawling 11,500 Oxfordshire estate and a whopping £183million fortune.
He also lives at Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Winston Churchill, which was built in the 18th century for John Churchill, the first Duke of Marlborough. Jamie is currently loved up with his new beau, Doune Murray, whom he started dating shortly after splitting from Edla.
His son George, Marquess of Blandford, from Jamie’s first marriage to Becky Few Brown, is heir to the title and estate. George married Camilla Thorp in 2018 and they have two daughters, Lady Olympia, four, and Lady Leonora, three months.
