JUST IN: Meghan Markle feels ‘hurt and betrayed’ after receiving a tough and divorce letter from her husband in Germany
A documentary aired in Germany containing clips from Meghan Markle’s neighbors in Montecito has reportedly left her “hurt” and “betrayed” as her life becomes exposed to the European public.
Entitled Harry – The Lost Prince features clips of some of her neighbors who accuse of her of remaining out of community engagements, as well as interviews from Metropolitan Police security chiefs.
Additionally, a former serviceman who worked with Prince Harry in Afghanistan also spills some beans on the couple who are now frustrated at what they perceive as an agenda against them according to sources.
“Both Meghan and Harry feel the show is yet another one-sided take down of them,” an insider told OK!. “And just want it all to stop.
“It’s like they can’t escape their past and are still being judged on things that happened over five years ago but they know it gets people talking and makes money.
“Meghan feels hurt by a lot of people – but especially her neighbours, who she feels have betrayed her by telling people this, rather than offering friendship and support.”
Markle keeps her guard up
The Sussexes headed to California after moving out of Frogmore Cottage in the United Kingdom in 2020 in what Markle has reportedly found a very challenging experience as they try to raise their two children.
But the documentary sees their privacy exposed to the world as Richard Mineards, their neighbor, says they live a very expensive lifestyle and goes as far as to say he doesn’t feel she’s valuable to the community.
He also says you never really see her and there are only limited times they see Harry, as the source says she now feels right in her judgement to dodge the members of that same community through lack of trust.
“It was hard for her to make this move,” the source added of her switch to Montecito. “And have the eyes of the world on them so she needed some friends.
“But obviously she was quite guarded because of what she’d been through. Meghan is very wary of getting close to people and trusting them and this documentary has confirmed she was right.”
