JUST IN: Meghan Markle Wore a Chic Sleeveless NUDE SUIT for a Surprise Hamptons Appearance
As she gets ready to launch her highly-anticipated American Riviera Orchard brand, Meghan Markle made a surprise appearance in the Hamptons to mingle with fellow female business owners and potential investors. On Friday, the Suits alum reportedly jetted into New York to attend the G9 Summer Summit, which was hosted by Goop and Bumble investor Amy Griffin at her home in the Hamptons.
As she joined her friends, designer Misha Nonoo and makeup guru Victoria Jackson, at the high-powered event, Markle suited up in a chic sleeveless nude vest paired with matching wide-legged pants.
In photos shared on social media by her fellow attendees, the Duchess of Sussex could be seen putting a fresh twist on business-casual attire in St. Agni co-ords in a breezy, oversized fit. The linen vest, which showed off Markle’s toned shoulders, featured a single button on the front and a longer design that extended midway down her thighs.
She complemented the office-ready piece with a pair of matching neutral linen pants, which had a baggy fit and a slight flare at the bottom. The stylish royal accessorized with layers of dainty gold necklaces and bracelets from Cartier and Ariel Gordon, and oversized black statement sunglasses from Heidi Merrick. She chose to wear her dark hair up in an effortless bun with face-framing pieces for the event.
Cosmetics maven Bobbi Brown and Worthy author Jamie Kern Lima shared photos of Markle on Instagram. The Duchess of Sussex smiled for a selfie with Spanx founder Sara Blakely and Lima, whom she reportedly took a private jet with to come to the event, per Page Six. In Brown’s photo, Markle could be seen posing alongside the beauty brand founder and designer Misha Nonoo.
According to Page Six, the budding entrepreneur attended the event to get some pointers from fellow businesswomen ahead of the launch of American Riviera Orchard. She was in good company, as People reported that celebrities like Reese Witherspoon, Julianne Hough, Naomi Watts, and Mariska Hargitay were in attendance to rep their brands, as well as company heads for Bumble, Spanx, Supergoop, and Flow.
Markle has yet to announce when she plans to officially release American Riviera Orchard’s first product to the public (although an early jam drop already has gotten significant buzz). However, it looks like she’s getting advice from the best movers and shakers in the industry to make sure the launch goes as smoothly as possible.
