JUST IN: WHY NOW? Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce LAMENTED Because Their present Challenge Will NOT allow them Get Married ‘Sooner’

Taylor Swift is still figuring out what she’ll do after her Eras Tour ends in December, but the singer is ready to “settle down” and step into a new life stage with her partner, Travis Kelce, sources told Us Weekly.

One source explained that the couple of over a year has been having “serious conversations” about their future. “Taylor has expressed how excited she is to settle down after her tour concludes,” the source said. “They’re on the same page.”

They added that “Taylor and Travis are very committed and serious about their future. Taylor is ready for the next era of her life. She knows it will be special.”

A second source touched more on the possibility of them getting engaged, saying, “They both see marriage as something they want sooner rather than later, and they both want kids. Taylor has always [been excited by] the idea of marriage and starting a family. She just hadn’t found The One until now.”

“They’ve built a lot of trust,” the insider noted. “They both knew what they signed up for and navigated it well. They’re in love and don’t care what others think.”
That second source revealed that their date nights are actually pretty relaxed for two A-list celebrities, too. “They are both chill people who love their downtime,” the source shared. “Staying in is a luxury for them. They enjoy cooking dinner together. It’s a refreshing contrast to their [public] lives.”

Engagement rumors have surfaced on and off throughout Swift and Kelce’s relationship. Most recently, Kelce’s rep shut down an early August report that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end was about to pop the question, saying that there weren’t “any official engagement plans” in place.

In May, a source told Us Weekly that Kelce wasn’t quite ready to propose. One source said, “Travis has no plans on proposing to Taylor anytime soon. It’s not even on his radar. Marriage is something he takes very seriously and not something he would ever just jump into without giving it some careful consideration.” They stressed that Kelce “cares very deeply [about Swift, but] he’s just not there yet.”

This summer appears to have changed things a bit though. The second source told Us Weekly today that Kelce “has dropped hints to those close to him,” that a proposal may be coming soon.
