Patrick and Brittany Mahomes witness the influence Jackson has on their son Bronze while playing at home

As proud Texans, the members of the Mahomes family like to embrace their Western roots. Patrick Mahomes wife, Brittany, was overjoyed to see their son, Bronze, carry on the tradition.

It seems that Jackson Mahomes, who recently embraced his cowboy roots, is rubbing off on his little nephew. The influence was clear to see on Brittany’s Instagram story, where Bronze went full Texan during playtime. The only thing he was missing was a lasso.

The little brother of Patrick, Jackson’s influence on the family has been polarizing at times thanks to a sexual battery case and controversial social media antics.

The 23-year-old was recently sentenced to six months of probation, a slap on the wrist for the serious case. Many NFL fans, highlighted by the strong presence of Swifties who witnessed him get in the same circles as Taylor Swift while she watched Travis Kelce at Chiefs games last season, thought he deserved a harsher punishment.

Nonetheless, Brittany and Patrick have always stood by his side, and that faith seemed to be repaid with the positive influence he is having as an uncle to Bronze and Sterling Mahomes.

He posted a photo on Instagram in a cowboy hat and boots with the caption: “back to my roots,” that showed how deep his Texas blood goes. With Patrick busy spinning the pigskin in Kansas City, it seems his little brother has made sure a little bit of cowboy gets passed onto the next generation.
