Prince Harry & Prince William Found a Telling Loophole to Avoid Each Other in an Upcoming Event
By now, we all know that Prince Harry and Prince William‘s relationship is strained and far between. But, while both parties have shown little interest in making amends, we can’t help but be hopeful that the brothers might have a royal reunion and reconciliation anytime soon.
So, when both Harry and William were confirmed to attend the 25th anniversary of the Diana Legacy Award (the charitable organization established in memory of their mother Princess Diana) on March 14, royal fans got their hopes up. But, as new reports indicate, Harry and William found an interesting loophole to attend the event without ever speaking to each other.
At the big night, the Prince of Wales, who will attend the event in person, will make a short speech and present the awards to 20 recipients, per The Times UK.
Then, only after William “has departed” will Harry join the event virtually.
If you ask us, Harry and William going out of their way to avoid each other at the event is beyond immature and childish. After all, seeing each other over Zoom wouldn’t necessarily have to be a reconciliation. Wouldn’t it be worth it to celebrate their mother?
Besides, William could use a major PR push right now with the ongoing drama surrounding his wife, Kate Middleton.
Most recently, for example, crisis communications expert Mark Borkowski described the Photoshop fail situation to People as “pretty damning.” Borkowski also seemed to be confused with “the floundering and the poor decision-making that’s going on” at Kensington Palace given that the whole situation isn’t something “the royal brand [wants] to be aligned with.”
Given that royal experts are as baffled as us as to what’s going on, it’s safe to say William could really use a PR win right now. But there goes another missed opportunity…
