Simon Biles will have to move to a different city: Husband Jonathan Owens signs with new team
Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens are trading the Green and Gold for Blue and Orange. Owens played the entire 2023 season with the Green Bay Packers, helping the historic franchise reach the second round of the NFL Playoffs as the 7th seed in the NFC.
Despite Owens putting together a second straight solid season as a starter, Green Bay decided to let him test free agency. Owens wasn’t made much of a priority by the Packers front office, and he’ll be able to exact some revenge next season.
Jonathan Owens signs with Chicago Bears
That’s because Owens will be a member of the Chicago Bears for the next two years.
The Bears are the Packers’ biggest rival, as they play each other twice a year due to being in the NFC North division.
Owens became a key starter for Green Bay starting in Week 7 last season, helping lead a young defense with Darnell Savage struggling with injuries.

But the Packers were clearly not satisfied with the performance of their safeties. They have now let both Savage and Owens walk in free agency. They turned around and signed Xavier McKinney to a huge contract to replace them.
Simone Biles bids farewell to Packers fans
Biles, the most decorated American gymnast in history, has been with Owens since August of 2020. The two got engaged in February of 2022 before their marriage on April 22, 2023. Biles posted a farewell message to Packers fans following the news.

We’ll see if Owens and Biles take a plane or car down to Chicago. It’s just over a three-hour drive from Green Bay.
