Taylor Swift put Travis Kelce’s behavior under examination when she was spotted spying on his phone while the power couple were on a double date with Patrick and Brittany Mahomes at the US Open in New York. As Kelce turned away to talk to his Kansas City Chiefs teammate, Swift took the opportunity to document what she saw.
Swift and Kelce’s date at the US Open drew as much intrigue as the tennis event itself, where Jannik Skinner took down the remarkable Taylor Fritz in the men’s singles final.
It was the showpiece event of the lovebirds’ romantic weekend getaway in New York following the Chiefs’ victory to open the 2024 NFL season on Thursday night.
Their public pop out was just as newsworthy for the couple they shared it with. Despite her public support for Donald Trump and his acknowledgement of it in return, Brittany Mahomes still appears to be a member of the Swift Squad. Both Mahomes and Swift received backlash for putting their friendship above their political differences.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs playmaking duo of Travis and Patrick Mahomes chopped it up in classic “dude” fashion at Arthur Ashe Stadium. Although nobody knows for sure what Swift saw on Kelce’s phone, many Swifties believed that based on the timing and the way his phone was propped up, he and Mahomes were watching another NFL game despite being one of tennis’ biggest events and being with their significant others.
