WATCH: The wife of the Chiefs quarterback threw it back to an earlier era As Brittany Mahomes returns quickly to blonde: Did Patrick not like her red hair color?
Intrigue follows wherever Patrick and Brittany Mahomes go. This power couple among power couples draws eyeballs and attention everywhere — including at a Sporting Kansas City game, where Brittany rocked an unforgettable outfit.
Brittany Mahomes has been a bit of a chameleon lately, changing her hairstyle to a relatively-muted reaction from her superstar husband. But on Saturday, she seemed to adopt a new persona, donning a throwback clothing combination that brought back memories of a bygone era.
Walking into Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday, Patrick and Brittany were dressed a bit differently than you might expect. Patrick, wearing a navy Sporting KC jersey and distressed jeans, walked side-by-side with Brittany — channeling her inner Spice Girl in a 1990s-inspired look.

Many thought that Brittany, wearing a track t-shirt and cargo track-style paints, was paying homage to Melanie Chisholm — better known as Sporty Spice, one of the five Spice Girls that took the music world by storm in the ’90’s. She had also dyed her red hair back to her familiar blonde for the occasion.
Meanwhile, Patrick met up with Andy Reid, his head coach with the Kansas City Chiefs, taking in all the action between Sporting KC and visiting Inter Miami. Reid is presumably knee-deep in preparing for the 2024 NFL Draft next week, but he stopped by Arrowhead to take in some MLS fireworks.

The Mahomes were duly impressed with Inter Miami’s rally, pulled off in front of more than 70,000 spectators. The Chiefs, gunning for a third consecutive Super Bowl championship next season, will hope to return in September to that kind of vociferous support.
