Photos: Sofía Vergara Sizzles in Red Bikini as She Celebrates Her 54th Birthday on a Yacht

Sofía Vergara marked her 54th birthday with a getaway to Italy, sharing photos on Instagram of herself relaxing on a yacht in a red bikini paired with delicate jewelry, the Italian coastline visible behind her. In her caption, she thanked fans for their birthday wishes, joked about receiving roughly 300 cakes during the trip, and declared 54 “a good number.”

The Modern Family star also posted Instagram Stories from the celebration, including a speedboat flag bearing her face and a “happy birthday” message, plus footage of friends and family singing and playing tambourines. She was also seen in a strapless red dress cutting into a custard-topped cake, and separately unwrapped another cake decorated with her own photo, surrounded by sparklers and candles. Her 34-year-old son, Manolo Gonzalez Vergara, joined the festivities, at one point holding up a tambourine printed with his mother’s face.

Additional footage showed staff presenting Vergara with several more cakes while dancing and lighting sparklers, with one server wishing her a happy birthday as she danced along.

In a lighthearted moment before blowing out a fresh set of candles, she joked to those around her that she already knew the drill  capping the celebration with a playful look to the camera.
