Andy Reid Sends Clear Message After Chiefs’ Preseason Loss to Rams

The Kansas City Chiefs may have walked away from their preseason matchup with the Los Angeles Rams with a loss, but Andy Reid was hardly sounding the alarm.

Instead, the veteran head coach used the defeat as a reminder that preseason football is about evaluation—not panic.

The Chiefs’ loss gave Reid plenty to dissect, particularly as Kansas City continues shaping its roster and getting younger players ready for the regular season. Rather than dwelling on the final score, Reid’s focus was on execution, mistakes and the players fighting for their spots.
