Joe Alwyn shortly missed out on an awkward run-in with his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift at Chiltern Firehouse on Wednesday night.

48 hours after Taylor partied at the celebrity hotspot until the early hours of Monday morning with boyfriend Travis Kelce, 34, Joe paid a brief 20 minute visit.

Joe, 33, who was in a private, ‘fully committed’ relationship with Taylor, 34, for six years, quickly left the five-star hotel in Marylebone, London for an unknown reason.

The actor cut a dapper display dressed head-to-toe in a Gucci co-ord, teamed with a white ribbed polo shirt.

He appeared in high spirits despite making a swift departure from the popular London spot after attending a dinner hosted by the designer earlier in the evening.

After three sold-out London shows, Taylor partied into the early hours with boyfriend Travis and a group of celebrity friends on Sunday evening.

Despite performing in front of 88,000 fans for more than three-and-a-half hours at Wembley Stadium, the pop star still had energy to spare while letting her hair down.

Taylor caught the eye in a colourful crocheted minidress while leaving the bar-restaurant hand-in-hand with Travis.

The singer rounded off her look with a pair of yellow block heels, while accessories were kept to a minimum as she celebrated a successful run of shows in the English capital.

Shepherding his girlfriend towards a waiting car, Travis claimed his own share of the spotlight in a lemon yellow co-ord and trainers, a look he teamed with a stylish Louis Vuitton bucket hat.

The British actor’s appearance in the capital comes days after his ex-girlfriend Taylor performed three sold-out gigs at Wembley Stadium.

Joe broke his silence about his split from Taylor Swift and their ‘long, loving, fully committed relationship’ in a recent interview with The Sunday Times Style.

When asked if he’d listened to her latest album The Tortured Poets Department, Joe said he ‘hopes’ people can ‘understand the difficulties’ that come with a break-up.

He said: ‘In thinking on what I was going to say, I would think and hope that anyone and everyone can empathise. … This isn’t a direct answer to your question, but just thinking about what I want to talk about.

‘I would hope that anyone and everyone can empathise and understand the difficulties that come with the end of a long, loving, fully committed relationship of over six and a half years,’ he continued.

The Boy Erased actor admitted their relationship had been ‘a hard thing to navigate.’

As Swifties speculated about which tracks could be in reference to Joe, a source told People in April that he is ‘dating and happy.’

‘He’s a great guy and not into drama in any way,’ the insider said, noting that Joe ‘moved on’ from Taylor.

After their relationship ended last year, the source said he ‘certainly doesn’t talk poorly about her,’ adding: ‘He was in love with her, and it just didn’t work out.’

Joe is ‘doing well’ and ‘focused on work’ as the source noted, ‘Joe loves acting, but can’t stand the attention that comes with it. He’s not comfortable in the spotlight.
