Mr. Simone Biles Is Getting a Great New Job, And It Looks Like the Olympic Icon Is All For It
Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens attend a game between the Houston Rockets and the Los Angeles Lakers at Toyota Center on January 29, 2024 in Houston, Texas.
While Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles gets ready for the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris, her husband, Jonathan Owens, is preparing for a big move of his own. After one season as a defensive back with the Green Bay Packers, the 28-year-old safety just signed a two-year contract to play with one of their biggest NFL rivals, the Chicago Bears.
On March 12, Biles posted a series of shout outs to her husband on X, formerly known as Twitter, for securing his $4.5 million deal. “CHICAGO HERE HE COMES,” she wrote in her congratulatory post.
Biles and Owens met during the pandemic in 2020 and officially tied the knot in April 2023. And although they’ve been navigating a long distance relationship since their honeymoon, they have been incredibly supportive of each other’s careers along the way. Because of their busy sports schedules, time together is precious. But the gymnast is optimistic that her hubby’s move to an international airline hub will make their travel a whole lot easier.
